2012 Important Information

· Letter J and your number to be the same size and in one line

· Neck protection is compulsory . A minimum soft collar is required although a carbon type brace (Leatt or Alpine Stars) is recommended.

· Random Scrutineering will take place this year and every rider is guaranteed to go through scrutineering at least once this year. All riders , parents must check what minimum requirements are, as per the scrutineering sheet.

Welcome to South Coast Cadets

"The home of Junior Harescramble racing in KZN"

If you own a bike and are aged between 8 and 18 yrs, you can race, and this is your website! (Competitors must turn 8 yrs in the year of competition, and must be no more than 17 yrs on 1st Jan.)

South Coast Cadets (SCC) is a sub-section of South Coast Motosport Club (SCMSC) and controls junior harescramble racing in KZN. SCC is registered with Motorsport South Africa (MSA).

ALL YOU NEED TO GET STARTED RACING:

Belong to a club - SCC of course! (SCC Membership 2012)
Racing licence (MSA online)
A motorbike (from 65cc to 125cc two-stroke, or 50cc to 250cc four-stroke)
Safety gear
supportive parents / friends / family willing to be your pit crew
